Free Seminar
Preplanning a place that’s worth coming back to
Most of us hope to be remembered. To have somewhere our family can come: a place that holds us, that marks that we were here, that gives those we love somewhere to return to. This free seminar is for anyone thinking about what that looks like, from funeral planning and final wishes to choosing a resting place that feels right. Join us for an informal morning where we'll walk you through your options, quietly and without pressure.

Why this morning is worth your time
Most people put this conversation off. But those who've had it tell us the same thing; it's a relief, not a burden.
- Learn the difference between burial, ash burial, and columbarium options; what each involves practically, emotionally, and financially
- Understand how pre-planning a funeral works, and what decisions families typically face when they haven't planned ahead
- Discover what a cemetery plot actually means:- who owns it, what rights come with it, and how it works across generations
- Explore 55 acres of graceful, landscaped grounds:- tranquil garden settings, gentle water features, and aspects chosen for their natural harmony and sense of peace
- Hear about the range of options available, from simple ash plaques to full burial plots and multi-generational family arrangements
- Learn how pre-purchasing locks in today's pricing and removes financial uncertainty for your family
- Ask anything in a relaxed, no-obligation setting. There are no silly questions here

What you'll hear

Planning ahead
More than 75% of the people who choose Auckland Memorial Park do so before they need to. Pre-planning means your family will know exactly what to do, and won't have to make hard choices at the hardest possible time. We'll walk you through how the process works, what's involved, and how to make it as simple as possible.

Ash burial
Ash burial is increasingly the choice of New Zealanders who want a permanent, meaningful resting place without a traditional burial plot. We'll show you our ash gardens and explain the options — from individual plaques to family plots — so you can find what feels right.

Family plot
A burial plot at Auckland Memorial Park is a permanent place — one that can hold meaning not just for a lifetime, but across generations. On the night, we'll walk through what plot ownership actually means, how family burial arrangements work, and what's involved in choosing a location within the grounds.
For those interested in multi-generational planning, we'll also introduce our Jade and Golden Terraces — a distinctive option designed for families who want space for several family members, with room for landscaping, offering platforms, and a setting that honours family history and family trees to come.

"The families most grateful to us are the ones who planned ahead. The hardest calls we take are from families who didn't know where to start."
