FOR SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY, AUCKLAND MEMORIAL PARK

ABOUT AUCKLAND MEMORIAL PARK

Auckland Memorial Park & Cemetery, established over 20 years ago, is New Zealand’s most modern cemetery, and offers a beautiful setting, an air of solitude and serene surroundings for a final resting place. Spread over 35 acres in Silverdale, on the Hibiscus Coast area of Auckland City’s North Shore, it is a place of natural beauty and tranquillity.

A series of terraces sweeping the hillside embracing an enchanting atmosphere, with a long view from the higher points out to the glistening waters of the Pacific ocean. Auckland Memorial Park & Cemetery is a place to both celebrate and reflect on life. Choosing to wander through the extensive landscaped Park environment, or enjoying looking at the gardens, Auckland Memorial Park & Cemetery offers a tranquil setting that provides an ideal setting for a service and burial.

The Park is also the starting of a testament to the cultural history of our city’s recent past.

The Auckland Memorial Park & Cemetery is maintained to the highest of standards

With our continued attention, we endeavour to ensure that it remains one of the most preferred cemeteries in Auckland. It is valued not just for its serene atmosphere and fine landscaping, but every memorial is significant to the history of the people of the Auckland that we know today.

Auckland Memorial Park is owned by a Charitable Trust and managed by Auckland Memorial Park and Cemetery Ltd. Our team are trained professionals, committed to giving you the highest standards of advice and service. Burial plots are owned by the purchaser in perpetuity, which means that your plot can never be resold. It will however, be cared for by our dedicated Grounds Maintenance Team. A levy of 10% on the sale price of every plot is charged and paid into the Perpetual Maintenance Trust. The interest from the Trust’s capital fund will be used to maintain Auckland Memorial Park and its burial plots for ever.

Our aim and vision is to conserve this collective heritage of the city for future generations.
